Sigma is an AI-native spreadsheet by Nolano that lets users edit, clean, and analyse data by typing what they want. I designed the core interaction system, how the AI communicates, executes changes, and earns user trust across desktop and mobile.

Problem
AI tools that edit your data create a new kind of anxiety, you don't know what changed, whether it's right, or how to undo it. Existing tools acted first and explained later, or didn't explain at all. Trust was broken before it was built.
Solution
I designed a complete trust loop: cell selection scopes the AI to only the chosen range, a three-colour diff system shows deletions in red, updates in green, and formula changes in blue as they happen live, and a Review mode lets users audit every change by category before committing. Nothing is permanent until the user decides.
